Solutions — Asset managers

Every owner their report, without the copy-paste.

You manage on behalf of several owners, each with their own portals and their own report. Alpha keeps customers and portfolios in one environment, and makes each of them a fixed report in their own brand.

Recognise this

Your hours go to the report, not to the park.

    Reports built by hand

In 2017, a software vendor's CEO wrote that reporting meant copying between monitoring, spreadsheets and accounting systems, and that IPP investors required monthly figures per project company.

A portal per brand and per owner

Every brand has its own portal, and every owner has their own mix of brands. A 2026 Sandia study of 24 PV software providers found 30% of platforms still place restrictions and costs on data export.

    Contractor reports you cannot check

Guidance for Welsh public-sector owners warns that monitoring platforms serve the contractor, and says those owners generally rely on unverified contractor reports.

    Seen as a cost

Bram Peperzak of Twist says owners often see asset management as a cost that adds little.

From problem to solution

From copy-paste to a report that is ready.

01 — Reports built by hand

A report per customer, on a schedule.

Each portfolio has its own schedule, and each report is a fixed snapshot with a checksum, in that customer's brand. It goes to the customer's report contacts as one PDF, one per installation, or one link.

What it gets you
More megawatts per asset manager, and reports on time.
Published reports in Alpha with customer, period and status
Sample data

02 — A portal per brand and per owner

Customers and portfolios in one environment.

Each owner is a customer account with its own portfolios, contacts and brand. Readings from every brand land in one data model, and access is granted per customer or per asset.

What it gets you
Your own view of every fleet, and less dependence on any one portal.

03 — Contractor reports you cannot check

Your own figures next to the contract.

The performance report checks availability and performance ratio against the park's guarantees, on your own readings. A separate compliance report shows which SLA obligations were met in time.

What it gets you
A contractor's report you can check.
Warranties with guaranteed and achieved values, with SLA compliance on top
Sample data

04 — Seen as a cost

What your work delivered, in MWh and in euros.

Lost energy per cause, and per customer the repair time, the share within SLA and the loss you avoided. Your admins see it on the Value page and take it into the conversation with the owner.

Availability and PR
In the report, against the park's guarantees.
Within SLA
In the compliance report, and per customer on the Value page.
Loss per cause
In MWh and in euros.
Avoided loss
Per customer, on the Value page.

How it is calculated

What an owner can rely on.

A fixed snapshot

A report does not change afterwards, and it keeps the version of the brand it was made with. A correction is a new version that replaces it.

Sending is a choice

A scheduled report goes out only with automatic sending on for that customer. A report still waiting for data is never sent.

Missing stays missing

Missing data counts as missing, never as zero, so a gap cannot pass as a result in an owner's report.

Questions

What you will want to know.

Does each client get a separate environment?

No. Clients are customer accounts in your environment, with their portfolios beneath them. Access is set per customer account or per asset.

Can reports go out in the client's brand?

Yes. Logo and colours are set per customer and apply to its portfolios. Quotes and agreements use your own brand.

Are reports sent automatically?

Only when automatic sending is on for that customer and the report is complete. Otherwise you send it yourself.

Can contractors stay in their own system?

Yes. They can work in Alpha, or receive service requests in their own system by webhook or e-mail. The monitoring stays with you.
