Solutions — O&M and service companies

Hit the SLA, and prove it.

Your contract pays on availability and response time. Alpha puts monitoring and execution in one system, so every alarm runs to a work order and every clock runs on the contract's terms.

Recognise this

The contract decides your margin. The evidence is scattered.

  1. 01

    The availability guarantee

Contracts for standalone sites and portfolios usually guarantee about 95% availability. Your margin hangs on that number.

  2. 02

    The response clock

Contracts set a response time per fault class. The clock starts at the fault, not when someone reads the e-mail.

  3. 03

    Who pays for the downtime

The guarantee has exclusions, and owners are advised to verify how downtime is attributed. Grid fault or your own: without data, it becomes a discussion.

    Tickets in free text

An IEA-PVPS study hand-analysed 191 maintenance tickets from one Italian plant and concluded that field practice must move away from manual text tickets.

From problem to solution

From alarm to proof, on the terms of the contract.

01 — The availability guarantee

Availability per inverter, against the guarantee.

Alpha calculates availability per inverter and shows it per park against the guarantee in the contract. The SLA board counts down response and repair for each fault, and the compliance report shows what was met on time.

What it gets you
Less in damages, more room for a bonus.

02 — The response clock

An alarm becomes a work order, without retyping.

An alarm becomes a service request and a service request a work order, with everything already filled in. The SLA clock starts at the first alarm and stops at the repair. Each work order has its own status flow and planning.

What it gets you
Response times within the contract.

03 — Who pays for the downtime

Every loss by cause, every curtailment with its source.

Lost energy is split by cause, in MWh and in euros, and each curtailment is logged with its source and measured share. Downtime you do not answer for is recorded as an exclusion, with a reason and a reference, and leaves the contract figure.

What it gets you
Less discussion, faster invoicing.
Expected and measured yield per site with the loss in euros

04 — Tickets in free text

Alarms bundled by cause, work orders with rules.

Alarms with the same cause become one incident, in four priorities, to assign or to park. Contracts create their own maintenance work orders, and the technician closes with a field report as a PDF.

What it gets you
More megawatts per person.

What you steer on

The figures your contract is measured on.

Availability
Per inverter, and per park against the guarantee.
Within SLA
Per fault on the SLA board, per customer on the Value page.
MTTA and MTTR
On the fault list and per customer.
Loss in euros
Per fault and per customer, with the loss you avoided.
False alarms
As a share of all faults, on the Value page.
Work orders
Per status on the planning board.

How it is calculated

A figure you can defend to your customer.

One clock

The clock starts at the first alarm and the terms come from the contract's SLA tier, not from a spreadsheet afterwards.

Missing stays missing

Missing data counts as missing, never as zero, so a logger outage does not turn into a fault or a perfect day.

Read-only

Alpha reads the installation and does not control it. Nothing it does can stop an inverter.

Questions

What you will want to know.

Does Alpha replace our planning tool?

It can: work orders, the planning board, absence and appointments are part of the product.

Does it connect to our accounting system?

Work orders can be exported as a CSV file for AFAS. There is no live link with an accounting system.

Does a technician need a separate app?

No. The technician opens the work order on a phone in the browser and closes it with the field report.

Which inverter brands does it read?

The connections page lists every brand and how it connects.
