Solutions — Installers and EPCs

From drawing to handover, and paid service after it.

Alpha reads your drawings and datasheets, checks the configuration before go-live and stays on after handover, so the customer you built for becomes the customer you serve.

Recognise this

The project ends at handover. The work does not.

    Rework at handover

In 2019, Omega's Allart de Jong said 80% of the 1,500 PV installations his firm inspects yearly were rejected before handover.

    Open items after handover

Kiwa PI Berlin checks PV plants against construction-contract conditions before PAC and FAC certificates are issued. An open item stands between you and that paper.

    Faults nobody sees after handover

Solora's Tim Weyens describes a business whose PV system produced nothing for three months over summer without anyone noticing.

    Service that stays a one-off

Solar Magazine wrote in 2022 that O&M had long been standard in Flanders, but not in the Netherlands. Without a routine, service stays a call-out.

From problem to solution

From project to service, in one system.

01 — Rework at handover

A configuration that is checked before go-live.

Alpha reads drawings and datasheets into a draft, and checks the design, such as string voltage against the inverter's limit. A person checks and applies it. Publishing stays blocked while any error, missing item or uncovered device remains.

What it gets you
Design errors found at your desk, not on site.

02 — Open items after handover

Punch items that become quotes.

Findings stay on the installation as punch items, and open ones feed a quote. The customer signs online, and the chosen lines become a work order.

What it gets you
Open items closed, and the extra work paid.

03 — Faults nobody sees after handover

Monitoring and alarms from the moment the park is live.

Publishing sets the park live, so monitoring and alarms start at once, in the same system as your work orders. An alarm becomes a service request and a work order, without retyping.

What it gets you
You find the fault before your customer does.

04 — Service that stays a one-off

Maintenance contracts that create their own work orders.

The activities in a maintenance contract create work orders on their own. The technician closes with a field report and photos, and the customer sees them in the portal once released, next to the installation's reports and quotes.

What it gets you
Service that recurs, with proof of the work.

What you steer on

The figures from project to service.

Configuration findings
Errors, missing items and uncovered devices, per park.
Punch items
Open items per asset, in the asset list.
Quotes
Per status, with what the customer signed.
Work orders
Per status on the planning board.
Maintenance activities
Per contract, with the work orders they created.
Within SLA
Per fault on the SLA board.

How it is calculated

What holds up afterwards.

A gate, not a list

Publishing is refused while an error, a missing item or an uncovered device remains. Applying a configuration does not publish it.

A person decides

The AI proposes from your documents. A person checks the draft and applies it.

What a signature holds

Name, role, e-mail, the drawn signature, the time, a SHA-256 hash of the signed content and the chosen lines.

Questions

What you will want to know.

Does Alpha issue PAC or FAC certificates?

No. Alpha has no PAC or FAC template. It holds the inspection forms, the findings and the history you build that paper on.

Which inspection forms are there?

Forms for periodic Scope 12 inspection, batteries, string measurements and the NEN 1010 sticker. SAT and UAT protocols test the data connection and its use in Alpha.

Is the signature a qualified electronic signature?

No. It records who signed what and when, with a hash of the content. If your contract asks for a qualified signature, that stays outside Alpha.

Is Alpha for home installations?

No. Alpha is built for commercial sites and parks.
